From cute and cuddly to fearsome and bizarre, stylized or photo real, I develop creatures and characters for Animation, Games and VFX. This includes Digital Sculpting, 3D modeling, and Rigging. I'm currently working at Pixar Animation Studios as a Lead Technical Character Artist responsible team mentorship and asset development for feature films.

My animation journey began at Community College. Attending and excelling in the two animation courses the community college had to offer sparked a level of artistic accomplishment that I haven’t felt before. I decided at that point becoming a 3D character artist would be my career goal. I sought after higher education which lead me to the art institute online and the United States Coast Guard.

My Coast Guard travels began in Cape May, NJ after which I was transferred to Petaluma, CA for more specialized and hands on training as an Electronics Technician (ET). After graduating 7th in my class I was transferred to my permanent duty station in Key West, FL. While working as electronics technician, I managed to pick up another year of art school at the Art Institute Online.

During my term of service my job as an Electronics Technician meant keeping Coast Guard radios, radars, computers, and other navigational equipment operational from Key West to Miami. Another role I’ve taken a lot of pride in was being elected as the Unit Health Promotion Coordinator for our detachment. I was privileged to motivate, support and lead 30 of my shipmates with struggles that ranged from smoking, excessive drinking, emotional distress and weight management to a state that freed them from these ailments.

I’m very proud of my decision to join the military. Not only did I make lifelong friends, but my experiences provided the atmosphere and opportunities which allowed me to mature and learn valuable life skills. I believe this has helped shape me into the diligent and determined artist I am today.
